Artisanal Chocolates
Did you know the chocolate industry is experiencing major set-backs due to climate change and unsustainable farming practices? The price of cocoa alone has increased 50% since 2024. Now more than ever, cocoa farms and the industry as a whole need our support. Buying real chocolate is the solution. Chocolate was never supposed to turn into a commodity. Before mass produced chocolate became the craze, (most of which contains less than 12% cocoa content—yikes!), chocolate was an artisan craft, titled “food for the gods” by Mesoamerican cultures. Real chocolate contains many beneficial nutrients and is actually quite good for you, especially if it is made with natural cane sugar and minimally processed.
Rosie’s uses direct-trade chocolate in all their confections. Direct trade simply means the chocolate makers purchase beans from cocoa farmer partners directly at a premium price. This not only guarantees higher quality beans, hence end products, but it by-passes middlemen and ensures the cocoa farmers can make a sustainable living. We don’t use shortcuts and we don’t compromise quality. Rosie’s chocolate edibles are products you can feel good supporting and eating. The best part? Chocolate and cannabis have a natural symbiotic relationship. Chocolate contains anandamide, nicknamed the “bliss molecule”. Pair with cannabinoids for the perfect treat for the mind and soul.
